Every month we visit a creative, colorful and inspiring person. She or he is the ' bedMATE of the month'.
The bedMATE is the most iconic item in our collection. The extra long pillow serves as a headboard , but also as a cuddle buddy, a friend who gives support.
We crawl into bed with the 'bedMATE of the month. We take a look at their home and their colorful bedroom. In conversation we discover how they experience the SUITE life . What's going on in their heads? Where do they get their inspiration from? What color do they dream in?
This month, all-round creative Nicole Huisman visited Maxime Cartens.
Maxime is a special entrepreneur who, out of dissatisfaction with the current fashion system, has started an alternative: the Teym brand. She has been ahead of the pack for years with the sustainable slow fashion brand.
Maxime is not only an inspiring entrepreneur but also a brand new mother. During the shoot of this month's bedMATE she was still pregnant, but now she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Lila.
Maxime knows how to perfectly combine ethics and aesthetics with Teym. With a fine sense of color she has developed a timeless collection. Her goal is to develop an “impeccable” wardrobe of classics step by step. Items that you will enjoy for a long time and that will not go out of fashion.
An environmentally friendly, sustainable and colorful seasonless collection, everything we (SUITE702) believe in.

Nicole Huisman met at Maxime's home in Amsterdam, where she lives with her husband, son and now daughter. A house with a story, a house in which people live. You immediately see where Maxime and Nicole find each other. A stylish, colorful and slightly retro interior.
It immediately feels like an inspiring house with a fine balance between design and second-hand. Extensive attention to color. And how wonderful it is when people have art hanging on their walls.
